AFR safety during flatshift
James what will do code during flatshift in boost when wideband reading goes very lean up to AFR 20? Would it trigger AFR safety system?

Re: AFR safety during flatshift
It is disabled during the flat-shift itself, but you still need to consider exhaust gas speed and sensor response time in order to set the "delay" setting.

Re: AFR safety during flatshift
So no additional logic based on flatshift activation or system deactivated during spark cut? Gear shifts can be 0.25s, 0.5s or 0.7s in some cases. If no deactivation based on flatshift input delay must be 0.8s is it engine safely?

Re: AFR safety during flatshift
As I said, AFR safety doesn't check when flat-shift (or launch) are active.TurboFan wrote:So no additional logic based on flatshift activation or system deactivated during spark cut?
