ms3x on jeep 2000

Post by weeters »

I have wired everything up but i can't get any spark. I wired the stock coils up to coil A B C. might the logic outputs not be strong enough to trigger the coils?

Have you read the section in the Hardware Manual about ignition coils?

Compare to the examples in the manual. Check for factory wiring diagrams. Measure the coils with an ohm meter.

0.6 ohms means it is a high-current coil. You need a coil driver such as the Quadspark or another external ignition module. Those coils cannot be directly connected to the MS3X outputs.

Ok this is where i'm at. I am using a ds61 ignitor to trigger the coils. they fired once and that was it. i am using coil a-c from the ms3x. the factory injectors are running off the ms2 board. i don't know any other information you might need. I am attaching tooth composit an sq file.

Do the coils fire when using the spark test mode?
