Spark D and F not working in MS3X Card

Hi,
I've been testing spark output mode to run 6 individual coil on plugs full sequential on an inline 6 engine, all work but coils 4 and 6;
I cranked the engine over, also all coils spark except numbers 4 and 6
I replaced the MS3X card and the problem was solved !
I wonder why that happened, the only mod i did to the ms3x card is that i soldered a wire from S12C To the positive side of D1 like the manual says to run the VVT
All the injectors work sequentially by the firing order

Any help about what went wrong and components are damaged ?

An update,
Spark output D and F stop working after driving around an hour in the car;
When I let it for a cooldown about an hour, they work again, this is so frustrating
I replaced the ms3x as I said, but it seems to have no effect

What sort of coils and ignition module are you using?

VW Golf 4 red coils like the ones listed in the manual
I'm running them directly from the MS3X

Check the resistance - the "low resistance" ones are marginal if driven from MS3X outputs.

Hi Matt,
I replaced the entire ECU and driven the car for 2 hours without any problems,
So the culprit must be the ecu, but I wonder what part of it goes nuts, why the outputs seize ???

Nope, just read that info,
I'll do tomorrow and report back,
What are the figures I should get ?
What are the numbers for low and high impedance ?

MS3-Pro spark outputs have more current available and do not have this limitation.

The problem I'm having is that I have 3 VW engines that come from the factory with the latest pencil coils and they are low impedance;
Tried fitting the older high impedance coils in their place but they are shorter and don't fit the spark plugs properly
The owner wants the original hardware, so I'm in trouble here...
Is there any external circuit or "buffer" I can make to use the "stock" coils ?

I also have a 2JZ engine fitted with those coils,
I'd like to run sequential ignition, I looked at the MS3 Base V30 manual and it requires 2 IC's to be soldered in the proto area...
Is it possible to use the MS3X Ignition outputs with lets say external igniters inline ? Like 2 original Toyota 2JZ igniters?
Do you have a link to the awesome little board ?

Okay, read it;
So should I go with the kit you propose or the TC Gate design one ?
I want to have full sequential ignition with the VAG COP's
I'm the Megasquirt dealer in Lebanon, and the one thing that pisses me off, is that Link and Haltech guys keep laughing at me because they throw whatever coils on their engines say, Nissan VQ35, BMW 3 wire, Honda, Toyota Coils and plug and play without any issues...
I'm stuck with this problem and don't wanna say to my customers that you need the MS3 PRO in order to drive the coils directly without any mods, so please if you have any unassembled board with the parts to solve this issue please send me the details ASAP
