Hi all,
Does TS & MS3 have the ability to communicate via CANBUS?
If so, what CANBUS adapter devices does TS support?
Thanks!

Re: TunderStudio <-canbus-> MS3?
The question is not, "Can TS communicate by CAN," but rather "Does my laptop have a CAN port?" I don't think many people will be answering "Yes" to that. Also, in addition to the CAN chip, your laptop also needs to speak MSCAN.
Jean Belanger was at one time working on a USB-CAN adaptor, but I believe he got side-tracked by other products, and RealLife (t) in general.

Pretty much what Don said. The MSCAN layer would likely need to be supported in TunerStudio instead of the Megasquirt serial protocol.

That's an interesting device, but TunerStudio won't be able to talk to it.

As far as I know, TunerStudio knows how to talk "Megasquirt serial" only, that is a slightly higher level protocol than the raw CAN data that is transmitted in "Megasquirt-CAN" (which TunerStudio knows nothing about.)
