GM Stepper IAC Working Backwards

Post by flak monkey »

Wired my stepper IAC per the first diagram on page 46 manual and it runs backward. Swapped 1A for 1B and 2A for 2B and it still runs backward! Lower number of steps is further open....

Thought switching the wires should reverse the movement?

Help!

Thanks James - I fixed it by switching coil 1 and 2 wiring - working fine now.

Glad you got it fixed, of course; but you really only need to swap the wires to one coil.
