where are the build/assembly instructions for the MS3X?
the little sheet of paper that comes in the package says they are listed here
http://www.msextra.com/manuals/ms3manuals/
I have downloaded every PDF from that site and I dont see the actual board assembly instructions like what I found for the JimStim and the JimStimX
edit: Ive searched the forums and I find references to this link but it takes me back to the main documentation page

MS3X/V3.0 Hardware manual or MS3X/V3.57 Hardware manual depending on your board. These are links on the link you posted. Scroll to the end for the build manual.

Re: where are the build/assembly instructions for the MS3X?
can you please link to the actual file and page number?
there are no assembly instructions in this PDF - schematics start on pg 187
http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/MS3XV357 ... re-1.4.pdf
and there are no assembly instructions in this PDF
http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/Megasqui ... Up-1.4.pdf
Im not looking for how to wire sensors into it. Im looking for the process of soldering each of the components, and in what order/subsytem they are built
like this for the JimStim/JimStimX
http://www.jbperf.com/JimStim/JimStim_v ... embly.html
https://www.diyautotune.com/support/tec ... /jimstimx/
thanks
Edit:
on youtube I found a video series of someone building the unit - where did he get the color-coded assembly chart that has all of the component locations? there has to be a link to that document/instructions somewhere??

Don't look at the V3.57 manual because there won't be an assembly instruction since this is not a board you can assemble yourself (and not what you have). You need to look at the V3.0 manual: http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/html/MS3 ... 4-208.html

Yeah, if you have a V3.57 board, look at the V3.57 for assembly instructions (http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/MS3XV357 ... re-1.4.pdf) that will explain (starting on page 209) the jumper wires, daughterboard install, and MS3x install.
If you have V3.0, go to the link that racingmini linked.
I thought you were just talking about the MS3x card, which is listed in both documents.

Isn't the MS3X only sold already-assembled??? Seriously, you will have a Mainboard (V3.0 or V3.57), and a Daughterboard (MS3), and an Extenderboard (MS3X); three different items. Get clear on what they are, or future questions will be similarly confusing.

The MS3X card needs no assembly, it is a factory assembled board.

I apologize for asking for clarification on the documentation. Should I PM you first from now on?
