My '99 Miata has been running on a DIYPNP for years and just switched to an MS3+MS3x V3.0. It has ID1000's and LS2 coils, pretty much everything else is stock. The board is assembled based on the V3.0/MS3x build manual, and the jumpers and harness are in place according to Westfields guide (http://westfieldmx5.devocht.com/megasqu ... 99-05-ms3/).
I'm getting in crank and cam signals that look clean, but there is constant sync loss and no rpm. Braineack mentioned that the signals are slightly timed off of normal, but the DIYPNP has run perfectly for years. Is there any way that the MS3 would desire a much different trigger offset than the DIYPNP?
The cam sensor circuit sees 2.4V and cannot be adjusted higher with the pots, and the crank circuit sees 2.8V.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: 99 Miata MS3+MS3x No RPM
Try switching the Ignition Input Capture setting.

Re: 99 Miata MS3+MS3x No RPM
Rising edge gets RPM, but sync loss code 31 and 32. The engine makes a weird popping noise. Same symptoms as here: http://www.miataturbo.net/megasquirt-18 ... und-85634/
