A couple traction control questions....

Post by Joeli0 »

I want to set up a simple TC for my drag car. I have read some on the perfect run settings and I think that will work. Can I use a DIY hall sensor and a drive shaft sensor wheel to get my driveshaft speed for the perfect run to plot to? If so it looks like I just select the input my sensor is connected to and config from there? Anyone using this can you offer suggestions? Thanks.

That sensor arrangement will work as long as the driveshaft wheel uses teeth instead of magnets.

Can I use one of the 4" missing tooth wheels off the site or does it have to have all teeth?

It needs to be a non-missing-tooth wheel.
