We shall see. It's gonna drive me absolutely nuts untill I know. That is just me. I agree with that as being a possible cause. What a goofy situation. It does make me feel a bit better knowing that it's not in the cars main harness . It doesn't prove there's not an issue possibly with the db37 solder joints or the adapter harness where it plugs to the db37. Right now I'm gonna watch it and be happy it's working right. I been chasing it for a week.

I'm not going to pretend to know why this is happening yet. I drove it to work this morning and it was fine. I drove it to lunch and things started to go back to the way it was . I got back and started manipulating the DB37 and nothing happened ...I started moving the vacuum hose around then the TPS started jumping around. I could pull on the hose while holding the ms3 still and the problem went away...I push in on the hose and it came back. I then took it apart and loosened the screws/nuts. They were not that tight and they were the nylon ones. I put it back together and back in the car and so far so good. weird!!

I hate when people start threads and leave them hanging without an outcome so .....I have been driving the car daily now all week since loosening the screws on the map sensor. It has not had 1 problem since that day. I'd call this fixed. I appreciate the ideas and comments.

Still good 3.weeks later so word to the wise...do not tighten the map sensor screws and nuts much. Even though I used nylon nuts and screws it undoubtedly was too tight because since I loosened them the tps problem has been resolved . :yeah!:

Is this the standard 2.5 bar MAP sensor that is supplied with the V3.0 kit? Were those screws tight before soldering the pins of the sensor?

It is the map that is supplied....basic 3.0 board kit with standard map. Yes I did bolt it down before soldering to the board as usual. I've built 5 of these so far and this is the first 1 I've encountered this on. It definitely threw me for a loop but so far so good. I'm daily driving this one so I'm sure on this. I chased this for a week thinking it was my bob adapter or the harness on the car or a failing sensor but it all came back to the map sensor . Loosened it and problems been gone since.
