cam fault no jp7

Post by ttxpc »

I am using an msd pro billet with one tooth on the reluctor for cam sync (hall effect 36-1 crank wheel), with jp7 installed runs fine, without (as per setup for vr) have constant cam fault and no sequential
running ms3x 1.4.1, cam into expansion board
Found this by accident, have had the jp7 jumpered for 2 years, before I found your not supposed too....
I am chasing a startup fault, is like the ms is resetting when temps are 5c or lower, have ms in freezer now to try and capture the problem, haven't been able to capture the fault in a log as yet...
Any insight would be greatfully appreciated

If it was working before and your composite log looks good, then leave alone.
