I setup boost by gear using the canbus'd micro to the ms3Pro, under speed and gears I made canbus gear # active which eabled boost by gear on the main bost page Went for a quick spin and made small pulls in manual mode to verify. It stays mostly at my gear 1 target with some weird unknown spikes.
Ive attached the log and tune any help or something to try would be appriciated

Digging through the trans pdf I found that under can vss in ms3 setup the gear # offset needs to be 15 where mine is zero
The screen shot also shows vss position/type as wheel, where mine is setup as driveline. Do I need to change the position setting?

In that datalog "Gear" is showing at zero the whole time, because the setting is incorrect as you mention.
As you have CANVSS enabled as the input the wheel vs. driveline setting doesn't matter - it is fetching an absolute speed regardless.

Ahhh, gear as reported by megasquirt. I have the projects combined so I'm viewing the gear detection from the microsquirt, that's where my confusion was

So didn't even have to leave the garage, doing this test was as simple as adjusting about 10% tps to be 100% and just had to foot brake and was able to watch boost targets move on the dash board per gear
This car is about ready to take another stab at an 8 second pass!
