odd fire 45 degree v twin cam sensor only

can i run this with a trigger wheel on the cam only?? how many minimum teeth?? dual or single hall effect sensors?

Yes; the more the better- I'd suggest 12-3 as a minimum, to give somewhere for the compression effect to hide. If you're going with a missing-tooth wheel, a single sensor is all you need.
