Re: Repu won't start.
That looks like an SD card log - can you grab a regular data log instead? That will show all the fields and readings.

Sorry Matt wasn't paying attention. Also I'm using Mega log viewer Big Stuff if that makes a difference.

Still not looking like a full data log. There are only about 15 fields logged. Injector duty isn't there, tps isn't there

Re: Repu won't start.
Comparing to my setup, 13b rotary, you have
Engine size 1300cc, mine is 2600 as this is the equivalent reciprocating 4 stroke capacity (2 rotations of e shaft)
Why is firing order 1 3? Should be 1 2

Re: Repu won't start.
The newer firmware uses 1300 and the 1 3 is RX-8 coil on plug. LOL I think.arran wrote:Comparing to my setup, 13b rotary, you have

I was cranky, disapointed and not thinking at the time. Then I saw Arran's post and that woke me up to my mistake.jsmcortina wrote:Why?spokanerxdude wrote:I'm using Mega log viewer Big Stuff if that makes a difference.

Re: Repu won't start.
I should be able to get another data log tomorrow. Making some headway, at least it is trying to start before it floods. LOL

Re: Repu won't start.
What newer firmware? I'm running the current stable 1.4.1. I've also tried 1.5 with those settings. I'm also running coil on plug not that its relevant. Why post on a forum, get provided a suggestion, and decide not to at least test the (2) suggestion(s) based on an argument that does not make any sense?

Re: Repu won't start.
Hold on a minute!
Sounds like the poster is using the firmware as currently intended by enabling "Rotary" and selecting two rotors.
Pretending it is a 4-cylinder of double the capacity and other 'tricks' were superceded a number of years ago. Not needed or recommended any more.

Re: Repu won't start.
Yes hold on a minute, so the conclusion is that the guy who's engine is running great has the wrong settings and the guy who's engine won't start has it correct?
Which manual talks about a change to the way this important setting is setup?
That aside, firing order 1 3 is going to be a problem

Re: Repu won't start.
Two question:
1. have you checked your timing? Tooth#1 angle is zero, that seems unlikely to be correct.
2. where are your secondary injectors wired? You don't have "Staged Injection" enabled - normally you should.

Re: Repu won't start.
My guess was that it is NA and only had 2 injectors hence no staging

It changed nearly four years ago.
