VSS Progressive Nitrous

Post by fj1289 »

Looking through the settings in TunerStudio for VSS Progressive Nitrous. If I have VSS1 and VSS2 installed -- which VSS is the progression based on? I don't see any menu options to select the VSS input.

I'd prefer to use VSS2 vice VSS1 - to allow it to assist with wheelie control and to keep rear wheel spin from adding more nitrous. Application will be motorcycle land speed racing.

Perhaps use traction control to limit wheel spin and wheelies?

Spent some time reading up on traction control. I didn't realize a wheelie would cause the same VSS "miscompare" as a spin would, i.e. VSS 1 greater than VSS 2. Although the cause is different (VSS 2 decreasing during a wheelie vice VSS 1 increasing during a spin) the resulting power reduction is the same solution for both cases.

Thanks for sending me in the correct direction
