Thats a normal datalog it records all the sensor reading the ecu is getting and also the outputs from the ecu like injector duty cycle ect. you can down load "mega log viewer" from http://www.tunerstudio.com/index.php/downloads to open and view this type of log file.

a tooth log only captures and displays the signal from crank shaft sensor. the log you posted shows the engine reving up to 4050 rpm without any issues of losing sync.
1990 bmw 320i daily driver with m20b25 ms3 sequential fuel, 380cc injectors, d585 coil near plug, home made cam sync, launch control, fan control, vss, homebrew egt logging what's next????

You need to open the log file.
File > Open

is there 'file' on the menu bar at the top? no sync loss, maybe you need to tweak the ve table looks like it could do with some work. listen out for pinging as you are running a lot of timing

Get the "lite" version working first. Start a new topic in the "MegaLogViewer" subforum and attach a screenshot so everyone can understand what you are seeing.

MegaLogViewer is known to work just fine on Windows, Mac, Linux.
