Windows 10

Time to replace my XP confuser, to that end I bought a Dell with windows 10 on it (can't say I like 10 though) and I bought the latest TS V3.0.14 program. I've been using MS3 since it came out and have no problems with the engine tuning part of it.... but when it comes to PCs I'm functionally illiterate! The Ts is working and I've imported the car tune into it, but my problem is I can't connect the Dell to the MS ecm via the usb ports as I did on the XP machine. MS said I should download a Virtual Com Port Driver from FTDI. I have done so but BEFORE I install it and screw anything up, has anyone done this and is there anything I should know? Thanks Ronp

Just get the driver here, and run it:

It works on Windows 10 no problem.

The Windows 8 and 10 drivers are much fussier than XP was, the new driver will fix it.

Good reminder thread for me to check the installed driver and update. Loaded windows 10 awhile back but can't recall if any other mods implementated.
