Plan on playing with traction control so I need a Vss2.
I was thinking of tapping into one of the front ABS sensors and converting to a 5V square wave. Ideally I'd use a VR conditioner for this, but wouldn't a simple transistor work?
Something like this
ABS to Vss conversion

Re: ABS to Vss conversion
You'll fry those transistors like popcorn; they're only rated to 40v and don't like high reverse voltages. A VR signal is AC, and can exceed 100vac.
I would suggest one of jbperf's Dual VR boards. Two VR signals in, two 5v square waves out.
