Do I need the Bosch 211 Ignition Module?

Post by HustleNono »

I am working on hooking up a 2007 CBR600RR's ignition coils to the MS3 Expansion card. I know that for the MS2 you needed to use a bosch 211 ignition module.... is one still needed for the MS3? thanks

Two wire coils will need some sort of driver module.

Hey Matt, thanks for the reply! I did some reading and I think I understand now. My question is, the diagram for the Bosch 211 and MS that I'm looking at shows that the 4 ignition coils are connected into a wasted spark configuration, but I am looking at doing a sequential firing. Can I do this with the Bosch 211? If you have any links that I could read up on my own to gain some info it would be very helpful, as this is all very new to me. Thanks again.
