AEM wideband: CANbus misinterpretation in MS3x v1.5.0
My AEM X-Series wideband gauge is connected to my MS3x using CANbus and the new AEMnet setting in v1.5.0
During overrun conditions, the AEM gauge is correctly showing full lean.
The AFR gauge in TS however is either constantly showing the exact opposite (full rich) or it is completely freaking out and rapidly changing between AFR 1.2 and AFR 23.1 (see pictures).
After the overrun condition has ended, both gauges match each other perfectly again.
So it seems like the AEM gauge is somehow misinterpreted during full lean conditions, don't know why...?

Bump
Could this be fixed in the next update, please?
Normal operation works flawlessly, it's just really annoying and distracting to see the gauge freaking out in such a way.
Also in datalogs one can't see any of the other traces anymore because just everything is filled with the EGO-trace, as one can see in the above MLV-screenshot.

This didn't make it into pre-1.5.1 beta 1.

Thanks for coming back to me!

Re: AEM wideband: CANbus misinterpretation in MS3x v1.5.0
I just found that the issue is triggered by the "Smoothing On/Off" setting in the "CAN Ego, GPS" window.
I have that switched to ON at the moment because the AEM gauge is a bit too nervous for me. But if smoothing is switched OFF, the AFR gauge stays at Fuel Lean during overrun-fuel cut without any fluctuations. So the issue is obviously related to the CAN smoothing and not by a misinterpretation of the CANbus itself.

I believe I already have it resolved. It will be in the next beta.
