What is the status now, besides the (mainboard) LEDs now operating correctly? Do you get all the correct voltages at the 40-pin socket when the daughter (MS3) is not installed? Does the 5V remain stable when the daughter is installed? Can you connect to TS now? Leave the MS3X disconnected until we are past this (getting com with TS).

I get 5 volts on to two holes on top of the proto board besides the gnd holes. Should any of the other hole on proto board have any voltage.
My MS3 daughter card is on its way to be exchanged probable gone for couple of weeks.
Was hoping to get some of the wiring done in car and on main board.
I need to get an EDIS module.
Outputs for the modular motor I need to build 330 ohm 1/4w resistors on a wire. Question do i need to build one for each coil 8 i guess for the COP coils as it says. also would it hurt to use 330 ohm 1/2w resistors instead.

okay got my MS3 daughter card back, supposed to be fixed.
I checked power as per instruction in Assembly guide all are good.
installed MS3 no lights come on with J stim hooked up. tuner studios not connecting. Fp light comes on for a second when power tuned on than gone.
Could this be my MS3 card not working just wondering if the sent back same old MS3?

Measure the 5V again, with MS3 both installed and not installed. I assume the MS3X will not be installed until you get the basic MS3 to connect and behave with TS.

If you sent the MS3 out to be fixed, it is very likely that you did get the same board back. Did the repair facility tell you what was found wrong, what was replaced?

5 volts proto area with ms3 installed and not installed. Should be good right.
They never said what was wrong specifically said it was faulty. They said they sent a new card back to me.

I'm not familiar with the procedures, but there are some basic com tests, like "loop-back" that can be done. Have you tried those, what are results? Are you able to try a simple RS-232 connection, no USB cables or adapters? What computer type or OS for TS? How about the place that repaired the MS3, have you contacted them; are they of no help at all?

I got tuner studio working all gauges including clock. The rpm gauge is not working properly? I can get about 50 rpm to show by playing with the 2 pots. Any ideas on what's going on?

What Stim, what wheel mode etc.

Best to start a new topic with MSQ and MSL.

Also, there's no connection to S12C on your board, there should be.
