Re: CAS CA18det Wiring - RPM wrong

Post by schnabulator »

hi guys,

I am trying to get my CA18det wired.

I know that there are certain chapter in the manual but i am still not sure.
Please take a look at my wiring drawing to verify if my wiring is correct.

Mainboad Jumper setting:
JP1 in the 1-2 position
J1 in the 3-4 position

I have a question about the illustration of the "plug" in the manual.
Does it show the harness "connector" (female) or the CAS "connector" (male)?
Right now i think it show the CAS connector, due to not showing any slots.

Looking forward to get your feedback.

Bye,
Flo

It is the connector on the CAS itself.

i got it wired.
but tunerstudio did recognized it.
A friend of mine told me, that jumper J1 works on his CA18det by setting it to 5-6.
so i did that.... and it works.

I don't know why but i am happy.

R56 is adjusted exactly to 2.5 Volts.

the only little issue is, that tunerstudio reads 1650 rpm when it should be 1300rpm.
and 3200rpm when it should be 2100rpm.

Does anyone of you have a hint what i need to do?

bye,
flo
