Ms3/x 1uzfe and want to get rid of iacv....

Post by Bunta74 »

I've seen it on a YouTube carguys show... Kind of a character "car sick" had a 1uz/240/ms with the part for the iacv welded up.....? Would love to get rid of this thing on the front of my intake manifold!!

But I can't find anything on this "actually" being done!?

So I turn to you for advice :D

Any info would be of great interest and appreciated!!

Engine is a 95 1uzfe stock, dual dizy 12 tooth crank wheel and all. Just finished building ms3/x. GREAT SUCCESS!!! :yeah!:

I have tuned and worked on a number of 1UZs on MS.... none of them had an IAC. That said DON'T get rid of it! Dyno graphs show that the motor is airflow starved when properly tuned. Use the new "Open IAC on WOT" feature in 1.5.X firmware to give the engine more air. I suspect there is a bunch of power there waiting to be tapped.
