I just spent the last hour trying to find info on how to wire this up as a 3 wire and im lost AF now! i see it as this....testing ohms with multimeter
Blue/Red= 5v+ pos lead testing each
neg lead
Green=4.42 closed and OL just off idle
Yellow=4.47 at closed and .62 at wot
Brown=Ground
on MS wiring harness B/W from coolant temp and air temp go to tps then wideband then to sensor return.
so is b/w the brown=ground for all these sensors?? Light blue signal and grey input???
do i just omit the green?
feel like im just over thinking this!!

Re: 1uzfe 4 wire tps
The 1UZ TPS has both a variable TPS and an idle switch. It should wire as follows.... Blue/Red=5VREF ( Grey wire in an MS harness) Yellow=Signal ( Light blue MS) Brown= Ground/Signal return ( Black/White MS) The green wire is the idle switch and is not used.

Re: 1uzfe 4 wire tps
Thanks again prof315! glad i can turn to this forum for a quick response. after reading the manuals about 3 wire tps setups and not finding much on the webs about setting up a 4 wire, i didn't want to guess and be wrong about leaving this green idle wire out. wouldn't post with referring to the manuals or "bible" first.
