Wiring trans temp sensor

Looking to hook up temp sensor to ms3 pro to monitor trans temp. I have the gm sensor from diy just unsure which wires I use to hook it up. Also I am running the ls plug and play harness.

Tried using analog in 3 and sensor ground wires from the spare bundle of wires and no luck, gauge reading is way off. Tried searching and searching on here haven't found any info how to do this.

You probably need a pull up resistor 2.49k

Yes, you need the 2490 ohm resistor wired to 5vref as a pull-up
