CEL for multiple EGO/AFR Inputs

Looking at the CEL page, it has "EGO1 Sensor Check". Does this check only apply to EGO1 like the name implies? What would happen if we were running 2 sensors (on a V8 for example) and EGO2 fails? Will CEL catch it? I don't remember seeing anything written about multi EGO sensors and failure anywhere in the docs.
