cuts out and sputters after sitting hot all day....
so when i get ready to leave work, car is "warm" after sitting for 7 hrs, she pops and bucks at about 1500 rpm. then after a bit, she is fine. fine all day. fine when parked and ran cold or hot. just have this issue after it sits a few hours.... maybe crank sensor heat issue? not sure. but i see someitng on the comp logger...

Ignition log seems fine, get a "real" datalog of it popping and bucking.

What I'm guessing happens on my car (which does much the same) is fuel evaporates entirely from the rails - or just vapour locks - after stopping the engine hot. If I stop the engine before things heat up fully, the next start is excellent What I found helps most is to run the pump for about 10 seconds before attempting a start. It's something I've intended sorting properly. But it's an old car, and means it would be very difficult for a thief to start and drive off in.

it does this when it cuts.....
then after a few min of driving "interesting driving" it clears up...
