Does rev limiter cause RPM=0 in log?

I'm running pre-1.5.1 beta 3 firmware. I did a pull this morning and hit what I thought was the rev limiter but at that point in the log the RPM momentarily shows as zero. I seem to remember that's normal but can anyone confirm it? I just changed crank sensors on the car and I want to make sure there's not a problem with them.

The rev limiter does not set RPM to 0. So something is up.

Uh-oh!

It's actually funny... just now this caused me to take another look at the MSQ as I realized the rev limiter was set to 7250 RPM but in the log the engine gets to 7500 before it cut out. But I guess with spark cut limiting off and fuel cut limiting off, there's really no rev limiter, huh?

there is sync loss going on when the rpm drops
