I want my shift light to work.

Post by doublejoe »

I am new to MS, so please be nice. :)

I have a MS3X. And I am using the spark G as the output for my LED shift light.

I tried to use the Shift light tab in the Settings Tab. I set my max RPM low to check that it works. But NO worky.

I also tried to use the spark G in my programmable output in the Advanced Engine tab. I set the threshold to 2000 rpm and still no light???

What am I missing?

The light is installed into a cluster "Up Shift" socket.

I am using the Spark G wire, that goes to the LED pos. side.

the spark outputs are capable of providing 5v at about 30ma or so. you would be better using an output to provide the ground to your led to turn it on
