Hi, my name is Jason and I have put an M120 Mercedes v12 into a Lotus Esprit. My issue is getting it to run properly.
It's running a Ms3pro EVO with Ls1 truck coils. Batch spark and fuel.
The car is set up with 2 plenums and a balance tube. 2 - 70 MM throttle bodies, 4 O2 sensors.
Injectors are mustang style, 215 CC. Fuel pump is set at 43 psi. The MAP sensors are Mercedes benz Bosch units.
Engine is M120 V12, 6 L. 48 valve.
The issue I am having is on the left side of the engine - cylinders 7 - 12 - it seems to be drowning the cylinders in gas. So much so that it spits out gas out the exhaust and it washing the cylinders down with gas.
The right side seems to be burning really hot. Could this be caused by vacuum leaks?
In this log, I played with the timing and injector trip to not much avail. Can you please look at it and let me know what you think?
O21 is Cylinders 1-3
4-6 - set up on Anlog 2
7-9 on Anlog 1
10-12 on Anlog 3
They are one wire O2 sensors, GM units a la Pointiac Fiero.
There is no alternator at the moment, I am running off battery and a trickle charger.
Any help anyone could lend me would be of great assistance. I've been working on the car for 2 years, and I got it running this year. I am attaching my data-log and tunes for anyone who could help. I was playing with a few settings when I was making this file.

Re: Mercedes M120 with MS3Pro EVO
Have you pulled the plugs? Are they all the same on the drowned side?
Have you used testmode to check that the coils and injectors are operating as expected?

Re: Mercedes M120 with MS3Pro EVO
HI James. Yes I pulled the plugs and on the left side of the bank (drivers side in Canada) they are soaked in gas and on the other side they are dry and show noreal use. They are new plugs.
I did test the coils and they are working as intended.
On the side that is not firing I seem to have more vacuum.does this make sense??

That doesn't sound good.
Please use the testmode to check all coils and injectors. Be sure to unplug your fuel pump fuse first.

Re: Mercedes M120 with MS3Pro EVO
They were I pulled them and dried them off. Still chasing the issue. I'm wondering if the ground is strong enough. Spark seems to be weak, then strong and then weak.
