Issues with coil test mode

Coil test mode only works very rarely for me on the MS3X. Using 4 sequential logic outputs with settings for the Bosch modules, going high, Ms3x outputs, COPs.
Using current beta4, and TS 3.0.28. Didn't have the possibility to try with a different firmware version.

I know this setup works as I'm using it for over a year now, previously with a Ms2 (also logic outputs) and had similiar troubles with the coil test mode.

Problem is when I enter test mode, I choose the parameters for the coil test and after pressing start, nothing happens nearly every time.
Theres no signal put out by the MS, watched the output with a scope. I tried it about 20 times today, resetting the MS many times in between. Only once did it work, and when it worked, I couldn't stop it afterwards.
In contrast, injector testing and the fuel pump button work flawlessly, every time.

I use this frequently and it works just fine for me.

Please post MSQ and a video of what you are doing and seeing.

I found the problem when trying to replicate it for the video. The ignition module seems to be defective. After removing it, I can see the outputs of the MS firing just fine on the scope.
