Wiring in pwm for w/m

Post by St1977 »

I have read and searched everywhere but can't seem to find the info I'm looking for.

Ms3 gold, want to wire up a solenoid to use the duty table in tuner studio for water meth injection.

I am already using all the outputs that the manual says are pwm outputs( vvt, boost, nitrous 1&2 etc)

Pt4 is listed in the outputs for w/m solenoid. Will pt4 provide a pwm ground for a solid state relay to drive the solenoid?

You'd have to wire it to a transistor to do this.

Ok thanks.

Next question, I have a small LED wired up to nitrous 1 for data log indicator.
Would any of my other outputs drive the led light.

Or would an injector output drive a ssr for a solenoid.

What are my options, other than getting a dedicated control for w/m, I get nothing reading the manuals because I don't understand the box enough I guess.

Injector outputs can drive an SSR directly, no problem.

Depending on the LED's current draw, you might be able to drive it from the high side from a spark output.
