2jz-gte sequential turbo help

Post by MXMISSILE »

MSPNPPro 2jz-gte sequential turbo solenoids causing main relay to latch on. When I remove vsv-1, vsv-2, and vsv-3 from e9 Toyota connector the main relay turns on and off. Also j1 and j2 are in the default configuration.

Make sure that these solenoids are not receiving power with the key on and engine off. They're not supposed to with stock wiring, but some aftermarket harnesses failed to copy this feature.

This is what I was figuring from reading the MS3PRO manual. This is going into a car that has a 2jz-gte swap that has been running for over a decade and was hoping it would be plug and play and I would not have to remodel the harness. Also it is still running on the stock twins and we wish to retain the stock sequential system. I'm going to power these three vsv off IGSW power for the coils outside of the harness and test to see if the ECU allows the main relay to power down.
