Post by Corvette78 »

In the case of a hot engine the governor sticks from the TH700R4 transmission
New Governor Sonnax 730
Corvette 1978, transmission from 1992.
What can be the case of this.
Thanks in advance

The governor on a 700r4 is not electronically controlled. Only the converter clutch........

OR, did I misunderstand your question?

Ken

EDIT: 1992 would be the last year of for the 700r4/4L60...... If it is electronically controlled,it is more likely a 4L60E......
