I have a quick question related to driving the Idle Control Valve. I have a 2 wire bosch valve, it's connected to the MS3X on pin 9 and I have added a diode in the wiring harness as directed in the manual. I get no response from the valve when the MS3X is powered up or when I try to run it in test mode. I was looking back through the manual to see if I missed something and noticed that a jumper, (S12C to JS), is "required to power the stepper driver and the MS3X card". This is in section 13.4 Jumper Wires.
Is this jumper required to power my 2-Wire PWM IAC valve? Thanks.
IAC valve on MS3X question.

Re: IAC valve on MS3X question.
Yes, you need the jumper installed.
