Idle VE

Hey everyone,

I had a question about the Idle VE feature. I use MS3X, firmware 1.42. When using Idle VE, is there any way to have idle VE operate in Alpha-N and use SD for everything else? If not could it be added or how can I make that work better? I have not experimeted with Alpha-N blend and SD works very well, idle behavior is mostly where I would like it but I idle in the 50-60 kpa area with my cam, I'm wondering (internally) whether or not I can get that last little bit of idle quality out by using Alpha-N in the idle area.

My experience is that I could not get idle (specifically return to idle using a BAC valve) to work correctly on anything earlier than 1.5.
Upgrade the firmware and setup Engine states and take it from there

Ok, well I'm willing to try engine states. I've been trying to find documentation on it without luck, can someone point me in the right direction? Also, it is to my understanding on MS3 firmware that you cant just update and go, is there an update process to follow do it doesnt do funny things?

The setting of the engine state is very simply. Is important the map treshold for indentify overrun or idle.

I used the tool tip in TunerStudio Engine State window
