I'll assume the "fixed" mark is at that red line that was added to the photo; at the right-hand edge of the tab cast into the block. But, which way does the crank turn in that photo, CW or CCW? The easy way is to set "fixed timing" at zero for checking with the light, then direction of rotation doesn't matter...

I should have been more clear. The red line on the picture is a split in the case that indicates TDC. If everything were perfect the red line would be right on TDC of the degree wheel. The engine rotates clockwise.

Success, I was able to get the car to fire and idle yesterday. :yeah!:
