I need to ponder that, I believe what you are saying, but I have seen reports of other lean burn installs where they did not need to modify the pick up coil to reluctor relationship.

the lean burn distributor that I am using currently has a single pick up, there are also lean burn distributors with dual pick ups,, I have one of those also,,
let me see if I can find out the off set of the dual coil distributors,, and maybe that is what the others have used,,
