MS3Pro Ultimate 1.5.1 AFR/EGO Control Active Below Load(%)
Maximum value I can enter in "AFR/EGO Control Active Below Load(%)" is 300kpa.
I'm setting up a car with 8 WBO2 and will exceed 300kpa and would like to keep closed loop active above 300kpa. Whats the work around?
Map sensor is configured as internal 4 bar. Is there a limit somewhere else thats holding me back?
Thanks,
Tony Reiners

Look under the general tab, near the bottom is a gauge limits setting. This may or may notnhe it
I know it affects rpm stuff and how far the ve table will be extended to

Max Load in General settings is 400kpa. It must be in the code.nathaninwa wrote:Look under the general tab, near the bottom is a gauge limits setting. This may or may notnhe it

Can anyone offer assistance or should I move this over to the development section?
Thanks,

Just tried on mine. It's an INI deal.

Open the ini file and look for this line:
Change the 300.00 for the maximum you want. Please note that I have no idea how the code will behave with a higher value. Use at your own risk.

Code: Select all
MAPOXLimit = scalar, S16, 168, "%", 0.10000, 0.00000, 0.00, 300.00, 2 ; * ( 2 bytes)

That did the trick. Thank you!racingmini_mtl wrote:Open the ini file and look for this line:Change the 300.00 for the maximum you want. Please note that I have no idea how the code will behave with a higher value. Use at your own risk.Code: Select all

What control box will you be using for your wodebands?

Changing the ini doesn't solve the issue, once you upgrade to 1.5.2 or whatever the newer version will be, the limit will be restored back. The same is true if someone else plugs in with his own laptop. This needs to be addressed with an official ini change.

Let me know how well this works for you. I have 8x setup on 2x 4 channel AEM and I am having a lot of closed loop control issues with big injectors and high HP. I can't really get the system to react fast enough.TonyR85 wrote:8x Innovate LC-2's to a CAN-EGT Boxnathaninwa wrote:What control box will you be using for your wodebands?

Yeah, that was offered only as a work around. But it is also not a bad idea to have someone try it and see if the current code can cope with that or if there is also a need to tweak the code. Then an official ini change (with a possible code change) would make sense.Reverant wrote:Changing the ini doesn't solve the issue, once you upgrade to 1.5.2 or whatever the newer version will be, the limit will be restored back. If you personally have experience that this does work fine with the current code then you should post a change request and say so. I'm afraid that what nvr2fst mentions above would be a limitation at those high boost levels. But in any case, I'm not an MS3 developer so that's not up to me.

Yes, I have tested it above 300kPa, and it works just fine, it's only an ini limitation.racingmini_mtl wrote:Yeah, that was offered only as a work around. They are not. I'm using them in a supercharged application.nathaninwa wrote:TonyR85 wrote:8x Innovate LC-2's to a CAN-EGT Boxnathaninwa wrote:What control box will you be using for your wodebands?
