Is it possible to keep the iac open a certain amount during deceleration ? I see only a couple of options, like the iac minimum steps and the delay setting but that's not really doing what I want it to do. In my case I would like to have the idle valve say 40 counts open during untill the throttle is reopened or untill it goes below a certain rpm threshold.
Thanks

I know this is old but I'm interested in this as well.
I'd like to use it to slow rpm drop during over run

Have you tried a "0" in the close delay field?
Couple this with the initial value table.

Is the dashpot adder what you're looking for, or are you trying to do something else with the valve? This function will add a fixed amount of opening when you lift off the throttle.
