MAT Correction Temp vs. MAT

Post by Dennis930 »

I was looking at the MAT correction curve today in TS and noticed that the green ball on the MAT correction curve was indicating about 100* but the MAT gauge on the TS dash showed IAT to be 70*. Also, I noticed the MAT gauge on the MAT correction curve says "Estimated MAT". So, does the code attempt to predict what MAT will be going into the cylinder or is something wrong happening for my setup? I have not looked at these together before and could not find any explanation about this in the manuals.

Want a guess? Using the MAT/CLT "correction" results in that.

Bill,

I was looking at it when the engine was idling, so you are probably correct. I will save my current MAT/CLT correction and then disable it to see if MAT correction tracks properly.

Thanks.
