its a 2 litre 4 cylinder ford cosworth turbo with single throttle body and had a problem at about 185 seconds

well the engine dropped a valve in #3 cylinder which the piston then mashed into the other 3 valves and the plug in that chamber.
all valve seats were destroyed and as the other 3 cylinders were still fueling and sparking, the exhuast gas from them looks to have gone back from the exhaust manifold's collector and through the damaged cylinder (and its broken valve seats) and onto the inlet air temp sensor which is directly behind the inlet trumpet for #3 thus resulting in the stratospheric MAT values.
its easier to understand the log when you've seen the engine damage!
