MS3x and microsquirt tcu can't get CAN to work

I have no idea how get this to work. I can't make any sense of the online manual.
What am I doing wrong? I simply connected canh to canh and canl to canl. No resistors as I understood both ms3x and microsquirt have them internaly.

I attached the MSQs in question.

You have to set up the CAN device in the project properties. In Tuner Studio File, Vehicle Projects, Project Properties, CAN Devices, click on add (+). Everything powered up, of course.
