I actually have both, multiple kits ready, kinda personal inventory I've got from DIYautotune. (I'm not associated with them fyi...) just convenient. Best way to learn (Me) is by doing) Today I'll need to build the "ignition interface circuit as instructed in the manual sect 188.8.131.52 if nissan's 3-wire coils are of the high current draw(I don't think they are BUT must chk first.)
Legit question billr.
I'll go to my MS3x after I learn the MS2x way of COPs....I've done the MS3x on the VK V8 nissan motor so I know it works fine.
Lotta wiring on this particular motor regardless of 'WHOs' standalone system you buy, I have MS2extra that I spent 5 hours fiddling around with my laptop and software to get right so I want to "hear the thing run".... that will re-motivate me and know tangible results are around the corner. Again....

High current coils take a grounding pulse.
Your software setting must match up with the coil driver wiring you use.
