Fidle ouput question

I have a question about this output/LED.
When I power op the MS3 on Jimstim, the FIDL LED is flashing rather rapidly, then after a few seconds, it turns solid (or flashing faster than our eyes can see)
What is that feature?
I tried to set the idle control to ON/OFF 60*C and to Fidle output. No change in operation then I turn the CLT pot.
If the Fidle is used elsewhere in the settings i should have seen an error message trying to use the output to another feature?
