If that's the case, then it looks like i'm ready to roll(?)

Time to start doing the chassis electrics next. :D
Thankfully that stuffs way more my speed.

I have the DIYautotune connector. It has a few empty spots according to this..

The only empty spots on our current harness are extra grounds.
argyle_j wrote:Just to clarify for myself again (my brain is mush), do I ignore Step 26 in the assembly instructions if i'm using the diyautotune wheel?

Step 26
Hall sensors Only (EDIS, VAST, luminition, etc):
a) Link OPTOOUT to TSEL
b) Solder a wire between TACHSELECT and XG1
c) For 5V inputs fit a 470R resistor into the position of R12
For 12V inputs fit a 1K resistor into the position of R12
d) For 5V inputs solder a wire between the top hole of C30 and 5V on the proto area.
For 12V inputs, solder a wire between the top hole of C30 and s12c pad on the main board.
Our directions were based off the original MegaManual documentation, which has no pull-ups, TachSelect jumperd to OptoIn, and TSEL to OptoOut.

nismoautoxr wrote:If your coils have built in ignitors then yes you would skip the bip373 drivers because they are only used to directly drive a high current coil that does not have an ignitor. The Bip373 would be the ignitor. In the case of using ignitor coils you would send a signal to each coil using logic outputs i.e. the Leds in the case of an MS2.
Great thread, glad the OP got it going. Any Updates?

Also, wanted to clarify something:

The maxima coils can be drive directly from the LED's? Aren't those LED's always powered and then the transistors (Q6 and Q8) switch to ground to light them?

Or do the coils need a 5v pull up like this?:

Maybe I missed it in the thread (lots of mixed discussion on inputs AND outputs).

Thanks for the help!
