Extra Spark

Post by parkeyl »

I"m not sure if i have my board wire correctly. It's an ms2 w/v3.0 board going to run it on a ls1 with batch fuel an wasted spark. install a extra db15 connector cause wasn't sure nor confident pinning it to the 36. Using 4-BIP373 4-330 resistors
Top of R26= Spark A
Top of R29= Spark B
Top of R27= Spark C
JS11 = Spark D

What coils are you using? LS1 coils do not require BIP373 as they have built-in ignitors. You need to build logic level spark outputs for LS1 coils.

See section 5.3 in the hardware manual.

That would be the best option but you can do it with the resistor method 5.3.0.4 section on the manual.

Using 2 TC4427s is the preferred method as it keeps the spark output going high which is safer than going low.
