MS2 IO capability w LS COP ignition

OK, so I bought a MS2 with v3.0 main board back kit in 2006 I think. Life took priority and it got shelved before I could complete it. Well I finally found some time and would like to use it for a junkyard LS swap this spring. I would appreciate if someone more experienced could answer a few questions.

1. Should I use the assembly guide I printed off years ago or is the board essentially the same and I can use the most current version which I also need help finding since there are a few Megasquirt websites. My concern is some of the components may have been updated and I won’t be able to set it up as described below. Assuming board is the same.

2. I have been reading the “Megasquirt MS2V30_Hardware-3.3” pdf and have decided on what I want but am unsure if there are enough input and output channels. I think the inputs shouldn’t be a problem but more worried about having enough outputs. Can someone verify the below would be possible?

Inputs:
-TPS, CLT, IMT, MAP
-24x trigger wheel from LS (section 5.2.4 & 5.2.6)
-O2 sensor, wideband (section 3.4.6)
-Flex Fuel sensor (section 3.4.8, maybe at a later date)

Outputs:
-4 ignition logics for 8 LS coils in wasted spark using 4427’s (section 5.3.1.3)
-8 high impedance batch fire injectors
-IAC stepper motor
-Tach output (no clue how to do this with IAC also)
-Cooling fan relay signal

Just use the MSEXTRA site for all Megasquirt information.

There are just enough processor outputs to do what you want, with some customisation.

JS4 or JS5 can be used as tacho output too. See section 3.6 in the MS2V30 Hardware Manual.
