Currently assembling MS2 with v3.0 main board kit and installing all the current drivers.
I configured it to run wasted spark with LS coils which means I do not need to install Q16 but it seems like a waste not to have it do some other function.
Is it possible to reprogram the outputs to have Q16 do something else such as run cooling fans or a boost controller or because of the design of the board it is hardwired in to be ignition only? Can you use it instead to drive a tach?
Thanks
Possible to repurpose Q16 for other than ignition?

It's not hard wired to anything. Both the input and output have to be jumpered to bring it into use.
It's common to fit a high current transistor in its place for driving things like idle valves etc where the standard circuit can't handle the current needed. Details in the manual.
