No RPM signal after ms3 replacement

Post by dochka »

Hello,
The ms3 card was replaced after the original one was damaged due to an electrical overtension...
I can connect to the ecu now via tuner studio and all output test mode functions work, but the problem is that i have no rpm reading;
I though it was R56 , replaced it with a new component but the issue was not solved;
Was should i look for next ? U8?
Is there any way to test the components to know which one needs replacement ?

Thank you

If you have an scope. You just start at the stimulator with the rpm signal and follow it through the components until it stops.

Thanks buddy,
Unfortunately I don't have a scope at the moment where I'm at;
Any suggestions of what the possible components may be ?
