Can't get more than 435rpm ?

Working with a MS3x and using JS and JSx. Can't get a sink and will not go above 435 rpm ? So I slowed it down to about 75 rpm and was looking at the JSx led's.
Their is a pause between inj3 and inj 4, at the same time the fuel pump led blinks and their is no Ign. led ? Ideas ?

To get a copy of the MSQ (tune) file, connect to the ECU with TunerStudio and go to File -> Save Tune As. To get a data log, go to the Data Logging menu and click Start Logging. You will be prompted for a file name. The log starts when you save the file (this is an easy one to get tripped up on as a lot of people expect saving the file to be what you do at the end of the log). Once you have recorded what you need, go to the Data Logging Menu and click Stop.

I'm seeing an unplugged MAP sensor and a failure to sync with the RPM.

It looks like you have wired the 3X signal, not the 18X signal, to the crank input. In that case, change Trigger Wheel Teeth to 3.

Matt, could you take a look at this ? Tried a 3 wheel and no luck.The map is working on the TS dash ?

Ok, I need to see a new data log with the new wheel setting to see if it's still a loss of sync or some other problem.

Data.

This is with the dip 2 on. Max is now 1850 with no led's out and no gaps.

Jean had me run the MS3 demo to test the rpm. No problem,so it must be the tune ?

All the readings are constant - is that on the Stim?

Yes this is on the JimStim.

Since I've seen many new users having problems getting an RPM reading and having difficulties with getting the right ignition settings and matching those with the JimStim configuration, I have posted what I think is a good initial series of tests to get an RPM reading and establish a baseline from which to start testing: http://forum.jbperf.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1503. That uses the default msq to establish that the hardware and connections are all fine. Then the user can use their actual ignition settings.

In this case, the baseline has been established successfully. But I don't know what the issue is from there.

as I am a newb and don't understand 99% of this stuff, could you do a video as I understand more when seeing it as opposed to reading it.
I understand your situation, but when things get better and you have time, a video would be awesome.

I'm sorry but I'm not setup for a video. What could be good is if a new user were to make one following my instructions and let me know what would need clarification.
